The CS-450 (a.k.a.CorioGen Eclipse) offers high
quality computer to video conversion from virtually any source* to virtually any video
output you need, plus the ability to genlock and overlay on to an existing video signal. It has all the functionality of the CorioScan Select unit (except dual outputs), with the addition of Composite and S-Video input and output connectors, a high quality genlock circuit with noise cancellation circuit, a digital keyer, and a video mixer / fader circuit. The computer graphics fed into the unit are converted into standard PAL or NTSC video signals (the Eclipse can switch between these two standards), and overlayed on to the incoming video signal by the internal mixer. For the highest quality video, the incoming video signal is never converted - the computer signal is keyed / mixed into the incoming video signal, without degrading the source picture quality or affecting sync and subcarrier timing phase. The CS-450 also has TV One's AutoSet facility which automatically positions and sizes the computer graphics for video conversion. This setting is then saved in non-volatile memory and is recalled whenever this same resolution is re-used. Manual adjustment of the display setting is also available via various control methods and settings can be saved. An easy to use infra-red remote for control of all features is also included, along with on-screen display and RS232 control abilities. In addition, the remote control can emulate an RS-232 connected serial mouse - perfect for controlling presentations from a distance. Other features include user adjustable Overscan and Underscan settings, 2x Zoom and Panning, freeze, and flicker reduction control. *Requires optional cable pack and adaptors for computers not having high density 15 pin D-sub output. |
