HQ08 Custom Cable Assemblies

We can make HQ cable assemblies of any length up to a maximum of 100Mtrs, but to avoid image degradation the image resolution should be considered. Basically, the higher the resolution, the shorter the cable. For minimal degradation... 640x480 25-30 Metres, 800x600 20-25 Metres, 1024x768 15-20 Metres, 1280x960 10-15 Metres, though we regularly make much longer cables and receive nothing but compliments for the fine images. Why? Maybe we're too conservative, or perhaps it is because we use our proven High Quality cable, superior connectors, solid metal shells and special termination techniques to ensure that you get 100% performance.

We suggest using a high resolution VGA splitter such as our VGS2 when sending VGA down long cables. There are several good reasons for this... 1. To allow a monitor at the PC and the remote display to be connected at the same time 2. To amplify the VGA signals so that they arrive at the remote display in good condition 3. To allow the remote display to be blanked for the purpose of controlling your presentation 4. To form a protective buffer between the remote display and your graphics card (and PC).
